Michael has dedicated nearly 8 years to Martial Arts training. He spent 3 years studying Aikido and 5 years studying Krav Maga, a hand-to-hand combat defense system that was designed by the IDF, the military in Israel. Michael also holds his Crossfit Level 1 certification. He believes functional fitness and Krav Maga make the perfect recipe for healthy and safe living.
KRAV MAGA is a self-defense system developed for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) that consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from aikido, judo, boxing and wrestling, along with realistic fight training. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and its extremely efficient and brutal counter-attacks.
KRAV MAGA encourages students to avoid confrontation. If this is impossible or unsafe, it promotes finishing a fight as quickly as possible.
The combination of High Intensity Interval Training and KRAV MAGA produces a recipe for extreme fitness conditioning, which produces powerful results.
